Profile
I am a visual artist whose practice investigates painting and collage in the expanded field. My work plays with graphic shapes and methods of collage to create artworks I call ‘coloured windows’. Colour is a focal aspect of my practice, specifically bold fluorescent colours that create a lasting impact on the audience. As part of my practice, I work with professional design software Adobe Illustrator and a laser-cutter, both of which perform an essential role in my process. I am also technically skilled with spray-paint and airbrushing, as these are the main mediums within my artwork and I use refined techniques, like shading, chiaroscuro, and illusionist qualities, in a controlled manner.
